Bristol Area Lions launch shed raffle 06/26/2010

Buy a ticket to win this shed. All proceeds benefit the Bristol Area Lions Foundation and are used to support the Bristol/South Bristol Food Pantry, CHIP, Christmas Food Baskets and other local charities.

The Bristol Area Lions have begun selling raffle tickets for the 8×12 foot saltbox shed in front of Reilly’s Market in New Harbor on Fridays and Saturdays from 10 a.m.to 4 p.m.

The shed may be seen at the New Harbor Methodist Church near the door to the Food Pantry. The shed has a window, double swing open doors, gable end vents, is on 4×4” pressure treated skids, has 2×6” hemlock floor joists, 3/4” plywood painted floor, 2×4” studs and trusses with diagonal hurricane bracing. The exterior is N.C. Hunt pine shiplap siding with a grey Cabot stain. The roof is covered with architectural shingles.

Tickets are also available during the week at Supplies Unlimited, Hanley’s, The Walpole Barn, Bristol Diner, Bristol Library, New England Building Materials in Pemaquid, Dee’s Variety, King Ro Market, The Granite Hall Store and The Island Grocery.

Second prize is one dozen lobsters from Shaws’ Lobster Wharf and third prize is a $25 gift certificate from the Anchor Inn. The drawing will be Sept. 6 at 1 p.m.
