The Bristol Area Lions Club are selling raffle tickets in front of Reilly’s Market in New Harbor between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. every Saturday until Labor Day, when a drawing will be made at the Willing Workers Hall for a $250 gift card to L.L. Bean.

Second prize in the drawing will be one dozen lobsters from Shaw’s Fish & Lobster Wharf, and third prize will be a $50 gift certificate to The Anchor in Round Pond.

Also for sale will be a reprinted book of the early history of Pemaquid Peninsula and a photo essay of Muscongus Bay. All proceeds will benefit the Bristol Area Lions Foundation Scholarship Fund as well as their Christmas Food Baskets and other local charities.

In addition, the Bristol Area Lions will be collecting used eyeglasses, hearing aids and cell phones to be recycled by Lions International and distributed to third world countries.
