Bristol Area Little League 05/05/2016

The Bristol Lions Little League team won their opening game against Masters Machine in a nail biter playing a closely matched team. Alden Seiders and Matt Hanna scored two runs in overtime. They were hit home by Tyler McFarland.
The Bristol Area Lions sponsors this team and has for 49 years.
In 1939, the first four Little League teams were formed and one of them was sponsored by the Williamsport Lions Club. In the rhythm of the life of a community, Little League flows down a middle passageway. Playing baseball is a kind of a rite of passage. A baseball diamond is a good place to be, and multitudes of Lions Club continue to sponsor teams in Little League
