The Bristol Area Lions congratulates four outstanding seniors of the Lincoln Academy Class of 2016 as recipients of $2,000 scholarships at Class Night May 31 from the Bristol Area Lions Foundation.
Nettie Hoagland, of Walpole, was awarded the Pat and Doris Harrison Scholarship. She will attend St Michaels College and major in journalism and communications.
Elizabeth Gilbert, of Walpole, received the Ed and Gladys Lewis Scholarship, first awarded in 1985. She will attend Bentley University, and has not decided on a major.
Cayleigh Hearth, of Walpole, was awarded The Ralph and Peg Hunt Scholarship. She will attend the University of New York with a major planned in psychology.
Kayla Dighton, of Bristol, received the Golf Tournament Vocational Scholarship. She plans to attend Capilo’s Institute for Cosmetology.
