Bristol Area Lions Announce Raffle Ticket Winners 09/06/2016

The Bristol Area Lions Club held its Labor Day raffle drawing, concluding its summer-long fundraising effort. Deputy Brian Collamore, of the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, picked the winning tickets.

The first prize, a $250 L.L. Bean gift card, was awarded to Stan Fraser, of New Harbor.

The second prize, a dozen lobsters courtesy of Shaw’s Fish & Lobster Wharf, went to Maralyn Mattick of Irvington, NY.

Patrick Moran, of Pemaquid, won the third prize, a $50 gift card from The Anchor.

President Brendan Donegan thanking Walt Johansson for once again selling 1,000 tickets by pedaling his bike around Pemaquid Harbor.

The Bristol Area Lions Club would like to recognize Lion Walt Johannson, who again sold 1,000 tickets by soliciting on his bicycle around Pemaquid Harbor. That accounted for 37% of the total tickets sold.

Raffle ticket co-chairman were President Brendan Donegan and Lion Tom MacGregor.

The Bristol Area Lions Club will hold its first dinner meeting of the new season at 6 p.m., Monday, Sept. 19 at the Willing Workers Hall. The speaker will be Allen Millett, from Newcastle, who will tell us about “Archoil: nanotechnology in fuel and lubrication.” This will be part of a series on innovation and creativity.
