Hope gets 35-year Lions Service Award 06/13/2018

At a recent meeting Bristol Area Lions Club Treasurer received his 35-year chevron from Maine District Governor-Elect Neil Iverson.  In addition to his duties as treasurer, he chairs the club’s finance committee and scholarship committee. Hope has been awarding scholarships to Lincoln Academy graduates for 32 years.  He also coordinates the annual Christmas food basket distribution. 

Hope’s other activities include Treasurer, New Harbor Methodist Church, a member of the Board of Directors of the Eldercare Network, which includes Round Pond Green, and he uses his career experience working in housing to help assess and plan housing repair projects for C.H.I.P. Inc., the community housing improvement projects non-profit. He embodies the Lions motto of “We Serve”.
